This report 24 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the inlet of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) obtained during the week 46, where eleven wastewater samples were analysed three times and the two others once. During week 46, the SARS-CoV-2 RNA fluxes in the treatment plants were very comparable to those observed during week 44 and 45. The level of contamination remains in the thirteen treatment plants analysed at high values of SARS CoV-2- fluxes, indicating a still very high prevalence of the virus in wastewater (Figures 1a and 1b). The data collected this week does not confirm the slight downward trend observed during the previous week at the national scale. More precisely during the week 46, a stable signal or slight decay occurred at the level of the wastewater treatment plants of Schifflange, Pétange, Hespérange, Boevange-sur-Attert, Mersch, Witz and Troisvierges, while an small increase of the SARS-CoV-2 contamination was noticed for the wastewater treatment plants of Beggen Echternach, Grevenmacher, Uebersyren and Blessbruck.
