This report 32 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the entrance to 13 wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) obtained during week 50. Two separate sampling dates were analysed, with the exception of the Hespérange and Boevange-sur-Attert treatment plants. During week 50, the level of contamination remains for all the treatment plants analysed at high SARS CoV-2 flux values, indicating a high prevalence of the virus in the wastewater, still higher than in the first wave (Figures 1a and 1b). Once again, the data collected this week confirmed the downward trend observed during previous weeks. At the level of treatment plants, SARS-CoV-2 RNA flows still show jagged variations on a weekly basis. But, a downward trend, can also be observed for all treatment plants studied individually.
