This report 36 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the entrance to 13 wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) during the week 52. One sampling date was analysed per WWTP. During week 52, the SARS-CoV-2 RNA fluxes in the WWTP remain high and comparable to those observed during the previous week 51, indicating a still high prevalence of the virus in the wastewater at the national and regional scale. Looking at the results of the last two months, there is a slow downward trend. This corresponds to a reduction of about 1 log from the maximum peak of the current wave. At the level of WWTP, SARS-CoV-2 RNA flows still show jagged variations on a weekly basis. But, a downward trend, can also be observed for almost all treatment plants studied individually.
